The New Office Complex of Quilon Social Service Society was opened on 15 th January 2007 at a colorful function by Rt.Rev.Dr.Stanley Roman Bishop of Quilon and President of the Society.

Mr.P.K.Gurudasan Minister for Excise and Labour inaugurated the Public Meeting and launched the Second Phase of “Suraksha” the project to contain Trafficking in Kollam coastal belt. The worshipful Mayor of Kollam Mr.N.Padmalochanan felicitated QSSS and inaugurated PRATHYASHA the Income Generation Scheme to provide employment facilities to 30 women. Mr.P.Rajendran Member of Parliament inaugurated the Livelihood training programme for 400 women in Tsunami affected villages. Projected Christened ‘Surabhi” is to cover 400 women.
