By the help of QSSS, self employment opportunities are given to the self help groups. Till today, four hundred and eighty self help groups were registered under QSSS. Prominent small scale agricultural units under these organizations are orchid farm, sweet potato farm, eco friendly family farming units, bubble bottle water unit, plantain units etc…
Other important micro enterprises were dry fish unit, ready to cook fish units, cage farming groups, clam processing units, catering units, cloth sale shop, tailoring units, candle making units, and fabric painting units. These units were financially supported by QSSS with the help of nationalized banks; NABARD; and Backward Class Development Corporation.
